Date of Incident: June 5, 2018

Name of Company: Old South Carriage Company

Code: Horse/Mule Related

A Tourism Enforcement Officer (TEO) asked another TEO to check a horse out on tour because that horse had some issues the previous day. The horse was found and it was noted that it was shaking its head often, chewing its bit, and it seemed agitated. The horse was pulled from touring and taken to the barn after passengers had been moved to another carriage wagon. A vet came and performed a physical exam and found nothing wrong. After the horse was tacked up, the vet suggested some alterations be made to the fit of the bridle and that seemed to resolve any problems.
