While pulling a carriage wagon, a horse got spooked by a plastic bag. The driver was thrown from the wagon but ran after the wagon, got back on, and brought both the horse and wagon under control. While he was doing so, a female passenger was thrown from the carriage onto the street. The police and EMS were called and EMS took the woman with minor bruises and a possible sprained ankle to the hospital. The horse was not injured and walked back to the barn and removed from service.
