Date of Incident:\u00a0<\/strong>May 15, 2019<\/p>\n Name of Company:\u00a0<\/strong>Old South Carriage Company<\/p>\n Code:<\/strong>\u00a0Horse \/ Mule Related<\/p>\n While at the barn, the horse, Jonas, on the first carriage wagon, backed up. This startled the horse, Vern, on the second wagon. Vern moved backward quickly, then sat on his haunches. There was no contact by the first wagon. Vern was calmed and removed from the wagon. There were slight injuries to Vern and a vet was called. Vern had a cut in his tongue, which was repaired with sutures. There were superficial wounds to the hocks which were also treated.
