While on tour, the horse, Vern, spooked, backed up, and went down on his hindquarters. He got up and went down again on his hindquarters. The manager came and the passengers were taken off the carriage wagon. Vern was led back to the barn while still hitched to the wagon. The vet was called and Vern was treated for minor abrasions. A TEO was called but did not come to the barn.
