A visitor reported being on a night walking tour near 150 Meeting Street and seeing a horse, who had spooked, while pulling a carriage wagon. The carriage jackknifed and the horse sat back on his hocks, then rose to his feet unassisted. Barn staff came to help, calmed the horse down, and walked him back to the barn. Passengers completed the tour on another carriage. The visitor reported this to Tourism and the equine manager checked the horse and found some small scratches on the horse. A vet came, checked the horse and cleared the horse to return to work October 25th.
